I grew up in Dawson Creek, BC, but chose to grow and raise my family in Edmonton, AB over the last 25 years.
In the summer, you can find me sitting by the fire laughing with family and friends making memories. In the winter, I love skiing our beautiful Canadian Rockies, but I have also been caught running in the Edmonton River Valley in below-30 weather, just for fun!
Ever since my first accounting job as a junior accountant, I have been inspired to fix problems.
Too often companies grow without putting importance on the finance function and are left with incorrect and untimely information. I believe that shareholders and their teams should have their numbers accessible at any time to help them with their business decisions and reach their goals and strategic objectives. Over my years of experience, I have observed that is not always the case with many organizations and I am passionate about making change.
I am a business finance leader who helps you scale and get to your next level.
I always meet business owners where they are at. Feel flustered? That’s okay. Dealing with a bookkeeping backlog? I’ve probably seen worse. Don’t know what you don’t know? We’ll figure it out together.
I approach numbers with both logic AND creativity. While finance is a traditionally logical sector, that doesn't mean we can’t get creative with our problem-solving, to ensure we are creating systems and structures that actually work for your business.
I focus on building long-lasting foundations and educating teams. When I work with you, my goal is always to set you up for success, in the long run. We focus on a strong base that you can evolve with, and educate your team, so they feel empowered by growth, rather than overwhelmed by it.

I have worked with small to medium-sized Canadian private companies in various industries with their financial and tax reporting needs. Over my 15+ years in the accounting industry, I have worked directly with shareholders and their management to help deliver accurate and timely information to their key stakeholders. I have also become a leader and a coach and have directed, led and mentored many individuals over my years in the accounting industry.
I obtained my CPA, and CGA designation in 2009 and gained my technical and leadership skills through my 12 years of working in the enterprise business practice department at a “Big Four” firm in Edmonton. I also have experience working as a team member in accounting departments for private companies. I have always enjoyed streamlining the reporting process and presenting financial information in a simple and easy way.
With my genuine and analytical approach, I will work with your team to come up with a plan to optimize and modernize your finance function and develop relevant and timely reporting for owners and their key stakeholders.
